Reliance invests in Andhra Pradesh CBG hubs, enters esports

Reliance Industries is significantly expanding its investment portfolio with a major focus on renewable energy and digital entertainment. The company broke ground on its first of 500 compressed biogas (CBG) plants in Andhra Pradesh, committing to invest INR65,000 crores to develop integrated CBG hubs across the state. This initiative aims to transform approximately 500,000 acres of barren and waste land into productive areas for Napier grass cultivation, which will be used to produce 40 lakh tonnes of CBG and 1.1 million metric tonnes of organic fertilizer annually. This project is expected to generate 250,000 jobs.
