Hindustan Copper's Malanjkhand project achieves record ore production

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) [BSE: HINDCOPPER] announced record-breaking provisional performance highlights for its Malanjkhand Copper Project (MCP) in Madhya Pradesh for the financial year 2024-25. The MCP achieved a record annual ore production of 27,25,206 tonnes, surpassing the annual target by 103% and representing the highest yearly ore production since the project's inception, sourced entirely from underground mines. While ore milling reached 24,34,285 tonnes, representing 97% of the annual target, and MIC production stood at 19,270 tonnes (92% of target) being the highest of the last five years. March 2025 also witnessed significant success, including a record monthly ore production of 3,00,363 tonnes (133% of target). In a separate announcement, HCL stated it had executed an agreement with Corporacion Nacional Del Cobre De Chile (CODELCO), to enable joint activities, strategic partnerships in the areas of exploration and exploitation of mining properties as well as mineral beneficiation. These announcements were made in compliance with SEBI regulations.
