United Breweries launches Amstel Grande in Uttar Pradesh

United Breweries Limited (BSE:532478) (UBL), a subsidiary of HEINEKEN, announced the launch of its Amstel Grande beer in Uttar Pradesh effective April 5, 2025. This launch marks a strategic move to tap into the growing premium beverage market in the region. Amstel Grande, categorized as a premium strong beer, is now available in Uttar Pradesh at competitive prices: INR110 for a 330ml bottle, INR160 for a 500ml bottle, and INR210 for a 650ml bottle. The product is being distributed through leading outlets across the state. According to UBL, the beer is slow brewed and matured longer, using quality barley, Dutch yeast, and selected hops, to provide a rich, smooth taste. The company highlighted that this launch is focused on the domestic market and is aligned with SEBI regulations regarding product launches.
