Torrent Power establishes new step-down subsidiary: TU38

Torrent Power Limited (BSE: 532779) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Torrent Green Energy Private Limited ("TGEPL"), has incorporated a new step-down subsidiary named Torrent Urja 38 Private Limited ("TU38"). The Certificate of Incorporation for TU38 was received on April 03, 2025. TU38 is incorporated in India and registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat at Ahmedabad. TU38's authorized and paid-up share capital is INR 500,000 each. TU38 is incorporated with the objective of manufacture, process, produce, assemble, alter, purchase, refine, treat, reduce, distil, blend, purify, store, hold, transport, use, experiment with, supply, sell, import, export, trade and generally deal in hydrogen, its by-products and/or its derivatives, compressed natural gas and mineral substances and Generation, transmission, distribution, purchase, procurement, sale, trading, import, export, storage of power, Hydrogen and/or its derivatives or otherwise deal in all forms of non-conventional, renewable, green, hydro power, or any other sources of energy including electrical power and energy in all aspects. TU38 is 100% owned by TGEPL, which itself is a wholly owned subsidiary of Torrent Power. TU38 is in the electricity generation from renewable energy sector and is yet to commence business operations.
