Gland Pharma secures US FDA nod for acetaminophen injection

Gland Pharma (BSE:GLAND) announced today that it has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for its Acetaminophen Injection, 10 mg/mL (500mg/50mL and 1000mg/100mL) Bags. The product is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug and is indicated for pain management in adult and pediatric patients. Gland Pharma plans to launch the product through a marketing partner. According to IQVIA, the US market for this product had sales of approximately US$55 million for the twelve months ending February 2025.
