CG Power completes acquisition of Renesas' radio frequency business

CG Power and Industrial Solutions announced the completion of its acquisition of the Radio Frequency (RF) components business from Renesas Electronics America Inc. and its affiliates, following satisfaction of all conditions precedent outlined in the Asset Purchase Agreement. This includes obtaining necessary approvals, including clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), which was previously disclosed on March 12, 2025. The relevant selling entities of Renesas have signed assignment agreements, enabling the transfer of assets and business to entities incorporated by CG Power in India, USA, China, and Turkey, aimed at facilitating the RF components business.
