Bharat Electronics (BEL) secures INR5.93bn defence order

Bharat Electronics Limited (BSE:BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, announced today that it has secured a contract with the Indian Air Force valued at INR5.9322 billion (excluding taxes). The contract pertains to providing maintenance services for the Akash Missile System, which was originally supplied by BEL. This order marks a strong start to the financial year 2025-26 for BEL. Furthermore, the company stated that negotiations have concluded with customers for potential orders worth approximately INR50 billion.
