Union Bank of India elevates two to chief general manager

Union Bank of India (BSE:UNIONBANK) has announced key changes in its senior management structure. Effective April 1, 2025, Shri Biraja Prasad Das and Shri Tata Venkat Venugopal have been elevated to the position of Chief General Manager of the Bank. Shri Biraja Prasad Das, a seasoned banker with over 32 years of experience and a Post Graduate in Agriculture, previously held the position of Zonal Head - Bhopal. Shri Tata Venkat Venugopal, a Graduate in Science with over 30 years of experience, previously held the position of Regional Head - Allahabad and Varanasi. The announcement, made in compliance with SEBI regulations, highlights the bank's strategic leadership adjustments.
