Bharat Electronics (BEL) achieves record turnover of INR23000 crores

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) announced a record provisional and unaudited turnover of approximately INR23000 Crores for the financial year 2024-25, marking a 16% increase compared to the INR19820 Crores reported in the previous year. The results include export sales of around USD 106 Million during FY 2024-25, a 14% growth over the previous year's USD 92.98 Million. During the fiscal year, BEL secured new orders worth INR18715 Crores, including significant contracts for BMP II upgrades, Ashwini Radars, Software Defined Radios, and Airport Surveillance Radar projects. As of April 1, 2025, BEL's total order book stands at approximately INR71650 Crores, inclusive of an export order book valued at USD 359 Million. The company aims to boost self-reliance through enhanced indigenization, expansion, and modernization initiatives.
