Dalmia Bharat commences production at Rohtas, boosts cement capacity

Dalmia Bharat has announced the commencement of commercial production at its Cement Grinding Unit at Rohtas Cement Works, located in Rohtas, Bihar. This expansion increases the unit's capacity by 0.5 MTPA, bringing it to a total of 1.6 MTPA. With this enhancement, Dalmia Bharat's overall cement manufacturing capacity has risen to 49.5 MTPA. The company invested approximately INR96 Cr in this project, financing it through a mix of debt and internal accruals. Dalmia Bharat aims to cater to the growing cement market of the Eastern Region with this increased capacity.
