REC Limited establishes subsidiary, Jejuri Hinjewadi Power Transmission

REC Limited (RECLTD) has announced the incorporation of Jejuri Hinjewadi Power Transmission Limited as a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL). The new entity, incorporated on March 28, 2025, has an authorized and paid-up capital of ₹5,00,000. This move is linked to a Maharashtra state intra-state transmission project where RECPDCL serves as the Bid Process Coordinator (BPC). The project focuses on network expansion to address transmission constraints in the Pune region and provide power to data centers. Jejuri Hinjewadi Power Transmission Limited will be transferred to the successful bidder selected under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines, along with all assets and liabilities.
