UltraTech Cement adds 1.2 mtpa capacity via debottlenecking

UltraTech Cement (BSE:ULTRACEMCO) announced today that it has increased its cement production capacity by 1.2 mtpa through successful debottlenecking projects across various locations. The expansion includes 0.8 mtpa from an integrated unit in Hirmi, Chhattisgarh, and 0.4 mtpa from a grinding unit in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. With this addition, UltraTech's total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity now stands at 178.86 mtpa. Including overseas capacity of 5.4 mtpa, the company's global capacity reaches 184.26 mtpa. This update was provided to the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
