Torrent Power establishes new renewable energy subsidiaries

Torrent Power Limited (BSE: TORNTPOWER) announced the incorporation of three new wholly-owned step-down subsidiaries under Torrent Green Energy Private Limited (TGEPL) on March 19 and 20, 2025. The new entities, Torrent Urja 39 Private Limited, Torrent Urja 40 Private Limited and Torrent Urja 42 Private Limited, are special purpose vehicles (SPVs) with an authorized and paid-up share capital of ₹5,00,000 each. All new SPVs are incorporated in India and registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat at Ahmedabad.
