Ramco Cements appoints Soundara Kumar as non-executive director

Ramco Cements (BSE: RAMCOCEM) announced the appointment of Mrs. Soundara Kumar as a Non-Executive Independent Director following the conclusion of a postal ballot process on March 11, 2025. Approved by the company's members, her term spans five consecutive years, from March 19, 2025, to March 18, 2030. Mrs. Kumar, aged 70, holds a bachelor's degree in Maths and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. Her extensive career includes 39 years at the State Bank of India, with roles such as Managing Director of State Bank of Indore and President and Chief Executive Officer of State Bank of India (California). The company has confirmed that Mrs. Kumar is not debarred from holding the position and is not related to any Director, Manager, or Key Managerial Personnel of The Ramco Cements.
