Mazagon Dock starts production of air independent propulsion system

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (BSE: MAZDOCK) announced the commencement of production for its first Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) system on March 19, 2025. The AIP system is intended for integration into Scorpene-class submarines of the Indian Navy. The plate-cutting ceremony, marking the start of production, was held at Mazagon Dock in the presence of Director (Shipbuilding) Biju George and representatives from the Indian Navy, as well as other senior officials. The AIP Plug, once constructed, will be integrated into the Submarine of P75 Project during scheduled Normal Refits. This disclosure is made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
