Asahi India Glass appoints Shashank Srivastava as director

Asahi India Glass (AIS: ASAHIINDIA) announced the appointment of Shashank Srivastava as an Additional Director, effective April 1, 2025. The decision follows the conclusion of Dr. Satoshi Ishizuka's tenure and his return to Japan. Srivastava, nominated by Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), will serve as a Non-Executive Director, liable to retire by rotation, subject to shareholder approval. The appointment was approved via a circular resolution by the Board of Directors. Srivastava, 60, currently serves as Executive Committee Member at MSIL and has over 35 years of experience. Dr. Ishizuka's resignation is effective from the close of business hours on March 31, 2025.
