Dhanlaxmi Bank appoints P. Suriaraj as executive director

Dhanlaxmi Bank (BSE: DHANBANK) announced the appointment of P. Suriaraj (DIN - 10901432) as Executive Director, following shareholder approval at an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on March 18, 2025. Suriaraj had already assumed the role on January 20, 2025, subsequent to approvals from the Reserve Bank of India and the bank's Board of Directors. The appointment, for a period of three years, was previously communicated to the stock exchanges on December 30, 2024, and January 17, 2025. Suriaraj brings 37 years of experience in the banking sector, primarily with Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd, where he held key positions, including General Manager of various departments such as Treasury, HR, and Recovery. His remuneration will be in line with RBI approved terms.
