LIC appoints Shatmanyu Shrivastava as chief risk officer

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC: LICI) announced the appointment of Shatmanyu Shrivastava as Chief Risk Officer, following a board of directors meeting held on March 17, 2025. The decision was based on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee. Shrivastava, a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Insurance Institute of India, brings extensive experience to the role. Having joined LIC in 1990, he has worked across various departments and organizational tiers. Prior to this appointment, Shrivastava served as Chief (F&A) at LIC's Central Office, where he oversaw the first closing of accounts post-IPO.
