Hindustan Zinc boosts renewable power to 530 MW

Hindustan Zinc (BSE: HINDZINC) is significantly increasing its renewable energy capacity through a new power delivery agreement with Serentica Renewables. The agreement augments Hindustan Zinc's round-the-clock renewable energy supply to 530 MW, increasing the overall renewable energy contribution to over 70% of its total power requirement. The innovative agreement guarantees a minimum of 315 MW of uninterrupted power, combining solar, wind, and energy storage across multiple sites. This move reduces reliance on conventional power sources.
