Bajaj Holdings to acquire stakes in Allianz insurance ventures

Bajaj Holdings & Investment (BAJAJHLDNG) announced plans to acquire a 19.95% stake each in Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited (BALIC) and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited (BAGIC) from Allianz SE. The acquisitions, approved at a board meeting held today, March 17, 2025, are valued at ₹7,980 crore for BALIC and ₹10,573 crore for BAGIC. This acquisition amounts to 30,066,446 and 21,990,336 shares for BALIC and BAGIC, respectively.
