Airtel partners with SpaceX Starlink for India internet

Bharti Airtel (BSE: BHARTIARTL) announced a collaboration with SpaceX's Starlink on March 11, 2025, to deliver high-speed internet services to its customers across India. The agreement, the first of its kind in India, allows Airtel and SpaceX to explore opportunities for Starlink to complement and expand Airtel's existing services. The collaboration will allow Airtel to offer Starlink equipment and services to retail and business customers, connecting communities, schools, and health centers, especially in rural areas. Additionally, it may allow Airtel to enhance its existing network and capabilities using Starlink technology. This partnership will complement Airtel’s existing alliance with Eutelsat OneWeb.
