Thangamayil Jewellery reappoints Chandrasekaran as independent director

** Thangamayil Jewellery (BSE: THANGAMAYL) has announced the re-appointment of Shri.S.M. Chandrasekaran (DIN: 08719332) as an Independent Director for another five-year term. The re-appointment, effective March 14, 2025, is subject to shareholder approval. Chandrasekaran has confirmed he meets the criteria for independence as defined under the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI regulations, and is not debarred from holding the position. Chandrasekaran is a practicing chartered accountant with over 35 years of experience and has been associated with companies in Madurai as its statutory auditor. He also confirmed that he is not related to any of the Directors of the Company.
