Tata Communications appoints N. Ganapathy Subramaniam as chairman

Tata Communications (BSE: TATACOMM) announced the appointment of Mr. N. Ganapathy Subramaniam as the Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective March 14, 2025. The decision, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, elevates Mr. Subramaniam, currently a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director (DIN: 07006215). Mr. Subramaniam has been a Board member since December 2, 2021. Before joining Tata Communications Limited, Mr. Subramaniam stepped down from his role as Chief Operating Officer & Executive Director of TCS in May 2024, with over 40 years of service in the Indian IT industry. In addition to his new role at Tata Communications, he holds chairman and non-executive director positions at Tata Elxsi Limited and Tejas Networks Limited.
