Jio to bring SpaceX Starlink internet to India

Reliance Industries' Jio Platforms Limited (JPL) has announced a collaboration with SpaceX to introduce Starlink broadband services to Indian customers. The agreement, contingent on SpaceX securing necessary authorizations in India, will enable Jio to integrate Starlink's offerings into its JioAirFiber and JioFiber services. Jio will distribute Starlink solutions through its retail outlets and online platforms. This initiative aims to provide reliable internet connectivity across India, particularly in remote regions, leveraging Jio's expansive mobile network and Starlink's low Earth orbit satellite constellation. Both companies will explore further collaborations to enhance India's digital ecosystem, aiming to empower communities and businesses with high-speed broadband access.
