IEX appoints Pradeep Kumar Pujari as independent director

Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) [BSE: 540750] announced the appointment of Mr. Pradeep Kumar Pujari (DIN: 00399995) as a Non-Executive Independent Director, following shareholder approval via postal ballot on March 6, 2025. The appointment is set for five consecutive years, commencing March 12, 2025, and concluding on March 11, 2030. Mr. Pujari, a postgraduate in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and an IAS officer since 1981, brings 36 years of experience in key governmental roles. His career includes assignments in Ministries of Power, Finance, Industries, and Commercial Taxes. Most recently, he was the Chairman of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC). The company confirmed that Mr. Pujari is not debarred from holding the office of director by any regulatory authority.
