Varun Beverages posts strong 2024, expands global presence

Varun Beverages (VBL), a key bottler for PepsiCo, announced strong performance for the financial year 2024, marked by a 24.7% increase in consolidated revenues, reaching ₹200.077 billion. This growth was supported by organic volume expansion, an improved product mix, and recent acquisitions, including The Beverage Company (BevCo) in South Africa. The company also strengthened its manufacturing footprint, commissioning greenfield facilities in India and scaling operations in its Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) facility. To continue its global expansion, VBL signed agreements to acquire PepsiCo’s business in Tanzania and Ghana. The company maintains a commitment to environmental stewardship and targets net-zero emissions by 2050.
