Metro Brands shareholders approve director appointments

Metro Brands Limited [BSE: METROBRAND] announced the successful passing of resolutions to appoint Bhaskar Bhat (DIN: 00148778) and Radhika Dilip Piramal (DIN: 02105221) as Non-Executive Independent Directors. The resolutions were passed with the requisite majority through a remote e-voting postal ballot, the results of which were finalized on March 6, 2025. According to the scrutinizer’s report, 246,258,092 votes were cast in favor of appointing Bhat, representing 99.9996% of valid votes, while 246,258,087 votes favored Piramal's appointment, also representing 99.9996% of the votes cast. The e-voting period commenced on February 5, 2025, and concluded on March 6, 2025. The appointments are for a term of five consecutive years, commencing from February 6, 2025.
