Madhav Power increases stake in Waa Solar marginally

Madhav Power Private Limited and persons acting in concert (PACs) have increased their shareholding in Waa Solar Limited (BSE: WAA) by 1,600 shares, equivalent to 0.01% of the total share capital. This acquisition raises their collective stake from 52.89% to 52.90%. The shares were acquired through an open market transaction on March 4, 2025. Prior to the acquisition, Madhav Power Private Limited held 70,17,180 shares. Following the transaction, their holding increased to 70,18,780 shares. The total promoter shareholding, including PACs, now stands at 90,02,764 shares, representing 67.86% of Waa Solar's equity. The disclosure was made under Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The equity share capital of Waa Solar is INR 13,26,67,640/-.
