Om Infra secures INR 4.48bn in UP water projects

Om Infra Ltd. (BSE: OMINFRAL) announced it has secured water infrastructure projects worth ₹4.48 billion (₹448 crores) in Uttar Pradesh from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Rural). The projects encompass two contracts: one for the Moradabad Circle (Districts Amroha and Sambhal), valued at ₹1.06 billion, and the second for the Lucknow Circle (Districts Hardoi, Lakhimpur Khiri, Sitapur & Lucknow), worth ₹3.42 billion. The scope includes water supply works, operations, and maintenance. According to the CEO, Vikas Kothari, these projects are strategically aligned with Om Infra’s growth objectives in critical infrastructure sectors, bolstering the company’s position as a key infrastructure partner, as well as enhancing their revenue and profitability, while also expanding its presence in the infrastructure and water management sectors.
