Neogen Chemicals plant fire halts production; insurance survey pending

** Neogen Chemicals announced a fire incident at its Dahej SEZ plant on March 5, 2025, at approximately 12:30 am IST. The fire, which impacted the production of organic chemicals, was contained without spreading to other plants in the vicinity, and fortunately, resulted in no injuries or loss of life. Production operations at the Dahej plant have been temporarily suspended while the company awaits a survey by its insurance company to assess the extent of damage.
