L&T secures significant building and factories orders

Larsen & Toubro (L&T: BSE:LT) has announced that its Building & Factories (B&F) vertical has secured significant orders for residential tower construction across key Indian cities. The projects, awarded by a reputed developer, span Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai. In Mumbai, L&T will construct two ultra-luxury high-rise towers, reaching up to 273 meters with 51 to 57 floors. In Bangalore, the company will design and build 14 luxury towers. The Chennai project involves designing and building 25 luxury towers. All projects are to be executed within stringent timelines. Further details on the order value were not disclosed, but L&T classifies "significant" orders as being between INR 1,000 to 2,500 crore. L&T is a USD 27 billion Indian multinational enterprise.
