KEC International receives INR 177 crore income tax refund

KEC International, a global infrastructure EPC major and an RPG Group Company, announced it has received an income tax refund of ₹177 crores from the Indian Income Tax Department. The refund includes the principal amount and applicable interest from prior tax assessments. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, stated that the refund will strengthen the company's liquidity and improve its financial leverage. KEC International focuses on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects across power transmission, civil engineering, renewables, and oil & gas pipelines. The company has projects in over 30 countries and presence in over 110 countries.
