BHEL files writ petition seeking INR 423.42 crore release

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced the filing of a new writ petition before the Karnataka High Court. The action seeks a declaration that the withholding of ₹423.42 crore (Indian Rupees Four Hundred Twenty-Three Crore and Forty-Two Lakhs) by Raichur Power Corporation Ltd. (RPCL) is wrongful. BHEL is asking the court to direct RPCL to release the said payment to BHEL.
