Uno Minda announces leadership change, expands R&D

Uno Minda (UNOMINDA) announced the superannuation of Rajeev Gandotra, CEO of the Lighting and Acoustics Domain (LAS)-2 and the appointment of Vivek Jindal, formerly CEO of LAS-1, as the CEO of the consolidated Lighting and Alternate Fuel Systems (LAS) Domain. This strategic restructuring aims to enhance operational efficiency and foster synergy across the lighting and alternate fuel systems businesses. To strengthen its technological leadership, Uno Minda has established a new R&D and engineering center in the Czech Republic, focused on developing cutting-edge lighting technologies for the global automotive industry. The company has 74 manufacturing facilities across India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Germany, Spain, and Mexico, alongside 37 R&D and Engineering Centres.
