Sanofi India discloses order impact from tax and excise authorities

Sanofi India (BSE: SANOFI) announced today that it has received orders from the Assistant Commissioner Central Excise & Customs Division VIII Ankleshwar, resulting in a refund of ₹58,59,456. The company stated that this order was a consequence of a CESTAT (Customs, Excise, and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal) order being given effect. Separately, the company received an order from the State Tax Officer Unit 21, Ahmedabad, granting an input credit of ₹4,81,326 through a rectification order. Sanofi India stated that these orders are not expected to have a material impact on its financial or operational activities. These disclosures are in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
