L&T secures major power transmission & distribution orders

Larsen & Toubro (BSE: LT) has announced that its Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) vertical has secured new "large" orders in both domestic and international markets. In India, L&T will implement 765kV and 400kV transmission line segments for a Renewable Energy Zone in Uttar Pradesh, as well as construct a 400kV transmission line to evacuate power from a non-fossil fuel-based powerplant in southern India. In Saudi Arabia, the company will build a 380kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS), including associated Reactors and hybrid GIS Bays. Additionally, in Abu Dhabi, L&T will establish a new 220/33kV grid station with associated infrastructure. These repeat orders underscore L&T’s role in developing efficient grid infrastructure and facilitating renewable energy integration.
