Wipro adds $200m to Wipro Ventures fund

Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO) announced a $200 million investment in Wipro Ventures, its venture capital arm. This fourth round of funding since Wipro Ventures' inception a decade ago, aims to accelerate investments in early- to mid-stage startups. Wipro Ventures focuses on identifying and investing in high-potential startups in artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure. The fund has invested in 37 startups, deployed solutions across over 250 Wipro customers, and achieved 12 exits. Wipro Ventures invests in early-stage, enterprise-focused and cybersecurity-themed venture funds in India, the US, and Israel.
