Max Healthcare to merge ALPS Hospital with MHASL

Max Healthcare Institute Limited announced the approval of the Scheme of Amalgamation between ALPS Hospital Limited and Max Hospitals and Allied Services Limited (MHASL), both wholly owned subsidiaries, effective April 1, 2024. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench sanctioned the scheme on February 25, 2025, following the Board of Directors' initial approval on May 16, 2022. The amalgamation aims to create a stronger operating company with a larger asset and capital base, improving financial strength, business objectives, and operational efficiency. Max Healthcare anticipates this merger will lead to better resource utilization, market access, and cost-effectiveness.
