Authum boosts Prataap Snacks stake to 42.33%

Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd. (AIIL) announced it has acquired 1,02,48,709 equity shares of Prataap Snacks Limited (PSL), representing 42.33% of the voting share capital. The acquisition comprises 127 shares through an open offer and 1,02,48,582 shares under a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA). The total consideration for the acquisition is approximately ₹764.56 crore. As of February 25, 2025, PSL will become an associate company of AIIL. The move aligns with AIIL's strategy of diversifying its portfolio and investing in sectors with stability and growth potential. Regulatory approvals, including clearance from the Competition Commission of India, have been secured. Prataap Snacks, listed on BSE (540724) and NSE (DIAMONDYD), is an Indian snack food company.
