Varun Beverages extends SBC Ghana acquisition deadline

Varun Beverages Limited (BSE:VBL) announced an update regarding the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of SBC Beverages Ghana Limited. The company stated that the consummation of the transaction, initially slated for February 28, 2025, has been extended to March 31, 2025. The acquisition, first announced on November 12, 2024, involves an equity value of US$15.06 million (INR 1,271 million). The company noted that the acquisition remains subject to regulatory and other approvals. The announcement was made to the National Stock Exchange of India and the Bombay Stock Exchange.
