TV Today Network plans FM radio business sale

TV Today Network (TVTODAY.BO) is exploring the sale of its FM radio broadcasting business, which includes three FM radio stations located in Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, under the frequency 104.8 FM. The company's board has authorized a Memorandum of Understanding with Creative Channel Advertising and Marketing Pvt. Ltd. for the proposed sale. The sale would be subject to fulfillment of contractual obligations, regulatory approvals, and permissions from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The radio business recorded a turnover of Rs. 16.18 Crores in FY 2023-24, representing 1.70% of TV Today Network's total turnover, but the net worth contribution is Nil as the business is making losses. TV Today is expecting to complete the sale by January 31, 2026. TV Today also plans an Advertising Sales Agreement with Creative Channel.
