Bharti Airtel partners with Ericsson to boost 5G evolution

Bharti Airtel (BSE:BHARTIARTL) announced a partnership with Ericsson to deploy its 5G Core network solutions, enhancing Airtel's network capabilities across India. The collaboration aims to facilitate Airtel's seamless transition to a full-scale 5G Standalone network, offering advanced services to its customers. Ericsson will deploy its Signaling Controller, Charging, and Policy solutions within Airtel's network, enabling monetization through network slicing and API exposure. This partnership builds on a 25-year relationship between the two companies, including the award of Airtel’s first 5G contract in India. The enhanced 5G infrastructure aims to boost Airtel's long-term 5G strategy, network capacity, and innovative service delivery.
