Emami: Diwakar Finvest increases share pledge

Diwakar Finvest Private Limited, a promoter entity of Emami Limited, disclosed an increase in its share pledge to several financial institutions, as reported on February 19, 2025. The share pledge involves multiple transactions executed on February 17, 2025, with IDBI Trusteeship Services Ltd., Bajaj Finance Limited, Aditya Birla Finance Limited, Axis Finance Limited, and Standard Chartered Capital Limited. The incremental pledges, in terms of numbers of shares, are as follows: 100,000 shares to IDBI Trusteeship Services Ltd. , 295,000 to Bajaj Finance Limited, 50,000 shares to Aditya Birla Finance Limited, 110,000 shares to Axis Finance Limited, and 55,000 shares to Standard Chartered Capital Limited. Following these transactions, Diwakar Finvest's total encumbered shares in Emami reached 1,67,04,957, representing 3.83% of the total share capital. Suraj Finvest's total encumbered shares in Emami has reached 72,11,992, or 1.65% of the total share capital. The pledges were made as per agreements with the respective lenders.
