Suzlon Energy faces penalty from Rajasthan GST department

Suzlon Energy announced on February 21, 2025, that it has received a penalty order from the Deputy Commissioner of State GST Jaipur, Rajasthan. The penalty amounts to INR 426,281. The order, related to an alleged short payment of GST liability during the financial year 2020-21, was issued under DRC 07. Suzlon Energy intends to file an appeal against the order in due course. The company stated that the penalty will not have a material impact on its financial operations or other activities. The disclosure was made to the National Stock Exchange of India and the Bombay Stock Exchange in compliance with Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
