Rail Vikas Nigam Q3 profit rises, audit report qualified

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024, showing a standalone net profit of ₹294.99 crore and a consolidated profit of ₹311.58 crore. The results, approved by the Board on February 14, 2025, show an increase over the previous year, attributed to strong revenue from operations. Auditors Gandhi Minocha & Co issued an unqualified review report, but drew attention to the Rs 1441.01 crore receivable from the joint venture Krishnapatnam Railway Company Limited (KRCL) over interest charged. The Board is still reviewing the matter. The company also disclosed the appointment of M/s Kumar Naresh Sinha & Associates as secretarial auditor for FY 2024-2025.
