Paytm launches solar soundbox for Indian merchants

One 97 Communications (PAYTM) has launched the 'Paytm Solar Soundbox', a first-of-its-kind device in India designed for merchants. The device, powered by solar energy, reduces electricity costs and provides full-day power with minimal sunlight exposure. It supports UPI and Rupay Credit Card payments via QR code and features a high-quality audio payment confirmation system in 11 languages, catering to a diverse range of merchants and customers across India. Designed specifically for small merchants, including hawkers and street vendors, the 4G-connected device promotes financial inclusion, especially in rural and remote areas.
