Jindal Power raises stake in Jindal Steel & Power

Jindal Power Limited, part of the promoter group of Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JINDALSTEL), has disclosed the acquisition of 1,334,576 equity shares of JINDALSTEL on February 14, 2025. This acquisition increases Jindal Power's stake in the company from 79,85,165 shares (0.782%) to 93,19,741 shares (0.913%) of the total share/voting capital. The acquisition was executed through open market purchases. The total equity share capital/total voting capital of Jindal Steel & Power before and after the acquisition remains at 102,00,88,097. This information has been submitted to the BSE Limited in compliance with Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
