Fire incident at Cello Industries' Opal division reported

Cello World (BSE:CELLO) announced a fire incident at one of the furnaces of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cello Industries Private Limited's (CIPL) Opal division. The incident occurred at a furnace located at Survey No. 597/1 & 597/1-C, Building No. 2, 3 & 4, Somnath Road, Dhabhel, Daman, Daman and Diu, 396210 on February 18, 2025. The fire was controlled quickly with assistance from the fire brigade, and there were no reported casualties or injuries. CIPL has confirmed that adequate insurance coverage, including loss of profit policy, is in place. The company has informed its insurance provider and is currently assessing the extent of the loss for claim submission.
