Norges Bank adjusts Anglo American stake; directors acquire shares

Norges Bank has notified Anglo American plc of an acquisition of voting rights, effective December 18, 2025. This transaction resulted in Norges Bank holding 3.021530% of total voting rights, amounting to 35,595,102 shares, up from a previous position of 2.894890%.

Concurrently, Anglo American plc's non-executive directors acquired shares through a 'Shares in lieu of fees' scheme for the period of October 1 to December 31, 2025. Stuart Chambers, chair, purchased 609 shares at £28.82 each. Magali Anderson acquired 273 shares at £28.82, and Nonkululeko Nyembezi obtained 246 shares at £28.82. These transactions, totaling 1,128 shares, occurred on December 22, 2025, on the London Stock Exchange.
