eMedia appoints Hendrik Carse as independent non-executive director

eMedia Holdings Limited ("eMedia") announced the appointment of Mr. H.J. Carse, known as "Hein," as an independent non-executive director to its board, effective October 7, 2025. This change was made in accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements.

Hein brings extensive experience, having joined Rupert International in 1996. He previously served as an investment executive of VenFin Limited until November 2009, and subsequently as an investment executive of Remgro Limited ("Remgro"). His career also includes serving on various boards of companies in which Remgro held investments.

Notably, Hein served as a director of eMedia Investments (Pty) Limited from September 2007, representing Remgro. His background includes holding positions on numerous boards and committees, contributing to his broad knowledge base. The eMedia board expressed its welcome to Hein and anticipates the positive impact of his skills and expertise. The announcement was sponsored by Investec Bank Limited.
